i must say that i still haven't watched a lot of things.
Japanese things that is.
although i've been indulging myself with manga since i was 9, i've only been introduced to the real things 2 years ago.
by real things i mean real people.
as in real people speaking, moving,acting etc.

i guess my involvement in Japanese thingy works this way :
manga -> anime -> dorama

i think i pretty much engrossed in manga far longer than any of the stages.
it didn't help that i didn't know anything about internet until i was 16, i think.
to tell the truth i didn't even know how to use computer back then!
i really helped that i was accepted into this boarding school where i got exposed to those two things that proved very essential in my life today.ekekeke
computer & internet.

i didn't do anything special with the knowledge until 5 years later.
when i was in my 2nd year of university and i had to move out from hostel.
only than i got full access to internet and voila!
that's the first time i was introduced to that holy term "downloding".
if i'm not mistaken, naruto was the first thing i downloaded.
using that damned Bittorent (which i really really despise till this day!)
anyway,
that marked my involvement in anime.
Real Japanese-speaking anime, not some poorly dubbed version.
it's a bliss to hear that Japanese language (though i didn't understand a word..)

when i was in my 3rd year,we changed college.
i ended up moving back to my house and my mom decided it's finally the right moment to have internet access at our house.

that's when i started to explore a bit more and ended trying to dload doramas instead of anime.
i didn't succeed at first.
because megaupload was such a pain in the a** back then and being a noob, i almost surrendered.
plus i didn't know i couldn't play those files using my ancient window player..
anyway,
it so happened that my friend lend me that dorama i was trying to download.
it was Nobuta wo Produce.
i didn't even know why i wanted to watch NWP in the first place.
i knew nothing of Yamashita Tomohisa or Kamenashi Kazuya or Horikita Maki.
i just happened to want to watch them.
i just happened to end up liking that Yamashita guy.
that's how i was introduced to Johnny's world.

i pretty much stick to downloading Johnny's related dorama.
i would venture out sometimes and watched a non-Johnny's one like Nodame or Liar Game.
but i pretty much stick to Johnny's because i don't how to choose others.
until few weeks ago, i found myself kind of sick and tired of watching Johnny's so i started to watch more non-johnny's stuff.
